Description

Location TRAIL HONDA 750 TRANSALP sur la Côte d’Azur

Key figures attract attention. 91.8 hp of power and 75 Nm of torque. But it’s what the all-new 755cc 8-valve inline-twin engine does that will really leave your mark. The intake tracts amplify and smooth engine response at low and mid-range, while the high-performance Ni-SiC coating reduces friction, and increases power, at high revs.

Honda adds a new trail to its catalog in 2023 with this arrival…

The return of the Transalp. A trail that wants to be simple is a quality! Versatile for riding on the road and in the paths without going as far as committed off-road. A serious manufacture and a contained price.
After the return of the Hornet for 2023, Honda brings us back the Transalp 37 years later!

The 2023 Honda Transalp XL 750 is based on a diamond-type steel frame assembly with an integral rear loop (significant of maintaining production costs) within which there is an ultra-modern parallel twin.

755 cc, compact unicam cylinder head with 1 single camshaft and 8 valves (technology derived from CRF crossovers), patented intake ducts, optional quick shifter, 270° timing like the new Hornet or the CP2 block from Yamaha, complete driving aids.
This engine announces very interesting performances: 67.5 kW (91.8 hp) of maximum power and 75 Nm of torque and an announced consumption of 4.35 l/100 km, WMTC cycle.

The steel cycle part (diamond frame 10% lighter than that of the CB500X) receives the support of Showa suspensions (43 mm inverted fork and Pro Link shock absorber with rods) displaying travels of 200 and 190 mm. This confirms the vocation of versatile and non-adventure trail of the extreme. This is not the vocation of the Transalp, even if its fully fueled weight of 208 kg testifies to the lightness of the motorcycle.

Note, it uses spoked rims of 21 and 18 inches, trail adventurer style, but these rims involve the assembly of inner tubes…

Point of impasse on the other hand on the quality of the lighting with a set of front / rear LEDs. The USB socket (under the seat)
